Abstract: 1-(4-(4,6-Bis(4′-chlorophenylamino)-1,3,5-triazin-2-ylamino)-phenyl)-3-(aryl substituted) prop-2-en-1-one <b style="mso-bidi-font-weight:normal">3</b> has been used as precursor to synthesize some new pyrimidine, pyrazoline, isoxazoline and isothiazoline derivatives. Several derivatives have been synthesized and evaluated for their antimicrobial efficacy against <i style="mso-bidi-font-style:normal">Bacillus subtilis</i>, <i style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal">Escherichia coli</i>, <i style="mso-bidi-font-style:normal">Klebsiella</i> <i style="mso-bidi-font-style:normal">pneumoniae </i>and <i style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal">Staphyllococcus aureus</i>, antifungal activity against<i style="mso-bidi-font-style:normal"> B. fragilis, B. vulgatus, F. oxysporum</i> and <i style="mso-bidi-font-style:normal">T. viridae</i>, insecticidal activity against <i style="mso-bidi-font-style:normal">Periplaneta americana </i>and anthelmintic activity against <i style="mso-bidi-font-style:normal">Pheretima posthuma </i>(Indian adult earthworm).
