| Abstract: | A few-channel
spectrometer for the determination of absolute fluence and energy distributions
(spectra) of electrons and photons was developed. This spectrometer consists of
thermo-luminescence detectors (TLDs) placed in a stack of 30 different
absorbers. From the measured depth dose curve, the impinging particle spectra
can be derived via unfolding methods (data evaluation). In mixed radiation
fields, it is necessary to take information into account in addition to the
measured depth dose curve (additional pre-information) for the data evaluation.
The spectrometer was successfully applied in different areas. |
