| Abstract: | A simple and efficient method for synthesis of new 1,5-diaryl-2-thiohydantoins using microwave radiation has been standardized. The compounds have been synthesized from phenyl¬acetic acid by esterification, bromination, amination and cyclization using conventional as well microwave irradiation methods. |
