| Abstract: | This paper presents, for the first time, a
few tomograms obtained using India’s own Radio Beacon for Ionospheric
Tomography (RaBIT) onboard YOUTHSAT, a small satellite dedicated for the
terrestrial upper atmospheric studies. The tomograms presented here, were
obtained during the beginning of the solar cycle 24, and clearly demonstrate
the potential of the tomography technique to investigate the large scale
ionospheric processes over the Indian longitude region. |
