| Abstract: | New isoxazolyl-1,3-benzoxazines 4 are synthesized from 4-amino-3,5-dimethyl isoxazole 1 by condensation with different salicylaldehydes, followed by reduction and subsequent smooth ring closure in presence of formaldehyde. |
