Abstract: A feminist approach to technology is an outlook that questions the existing structures of technology and seeks to incorporate women as equal partners within it. Equal participation of women in all aspects of technology (including decision-making) is desirable to ensure that development and growth of the field is better balanced, to promote gender equality and women’s rights, as well as to see to it that any kind of technology does not affect women adversely.
