Abstract: This study correlates the deposition parameters with the alloy characteristics, through mathematical models based on zinc-iron alloy deposition. Both the partial and transition current densities have been determined. It should be noted that by designing specific models for a given boundary condition, the desired alloy composition can be achieved. The effect of deposition parameters on both cathodic as well as anodic potential and the electrochemical kinetics has also been investigated and the exchange current density values are computed. Effect of deposition rate as well as alloy phase composition over the textural characteristics and hkl planes is also observed.
