Abstract: This study presents a novel molecular method for detection of Salmonella entrica typhi strain based on 16s rRNA sequence analysis by modification of PCR primer 16sF1, which was combined with a newly developed primer. Annealing method at the position of 50°C PCR amplification of 16s rRNA was performed with universal primer 27F and 1429R. Combination of these two specific primers proved specific detection of Salmonella entrica typhi, which was isolated and cultured from gut of silk worm Bombyx mori (Linn.).
