Abstract: zschia amphioxys were investigated under continuous-light period and batch culture conditions. The optimum temperature and light intensities were found as 18°C and 52 µmol/m2s (saturasyon light), respectively. µmax and Ks values estimated for each nutrient were obtained as follows: ammonia for 1.528 day-1 2.959 µg-at- NH4+-N/L, nitrate 1.22 day-1, 7.01 µg-at NO3- -N/L, phosphate 1.767 and 1.172 day-1 5.07 and 0.460 µg-at PO4-3-P/L, silicate 1.141 day-1 and 0,499 µg-at Si/L. Carrying capacity values estimated for each nutrients were obtained as follows: nitrate 113,7 µg chl a/L , 190.11 phosphate 113.7 µg chl a/L, 1.798. Nitrogen limiting nutrients was found as in this study.
