Abstract: In an earlier study, radiation treatment (0.5 kGy) and low temperature (4°C) storage were found to extend the shelf life of litchi fruit var. 'Shahi' and 'China' from India up to 28 days, while maintaining its physical, biochemical and organoleptic properties.
