|Abstract:||Banana, Musa paradisiaca Linn. has become a major commercial crop since its fruits are being used throughout the country round the year. In Jalgaon, Maharashtra an area of more than 47,000 hectares is under its cultivation but conventional growing methods do not result in uniformity in plants.
