Abstract: The health and nutrition conscious people are switching over to vegetarian food, reasons being cholesterol and fat deposition in the broiler carcass and meat of animals which they eat. Thus, nutritionists have focussed their attention on the dietary manipulations to achieve the desired characteristics of growth and carcass composition of broilers.
