Abstract: | Tissue Culture- Celastrus paniculatus Willd. subsp. paniculatus seeds are the
source of Ayurvedic drug lyothismuthi which is used as brain tonic and also
for treating rheumatism, gout and neurological disorders. Its leaves, flowers
and bark are also reported to possess many medicinal properties.
Vegetable- Cauliflower seeds contain 38.6% of a fixed oil which is reported to be suitable for domestic consumption. A research has been done to enhance seed production by spraying long chain aliphatic alcohol, Mixtalol, CH2(CH2)nCH20H. |
