Abstract: Fodder- Based upon ARS dairy scientist Glen A. Broderick studies, USDA, ARS, Linda McGraw says, 'Red Clover Silage Boasts Benefits Over Alfalfa Silage'. It is reported that switching cows from Alfalfa (Medicago sativa Linn.) to Red Clover (Trifolium pratense Linn.)

Food- The functional properties of plant proteins could be improved by blending with other vegetable proteins or milk proteins. Scientists at J National Research Center for Cashew in Puttur, Kerala studied the functional properties of defatted cashew kernel flour and reported that I. blending of cashew and soybean in the ratio of 1:1 improved the water absorption and emulsification capacity of cashew.
