| Abstract: | Genetic Engineering- The stigma of Saffron, Crocus sativus Linn. are dried and sold in the market as a precious material to be used in food and medicine. Since the collection of stigma from flowers and drying process restrict its availability at cheaper rate, businessmen mix several adulterants in it.
Insecticide/Nematicide/Pesticide- Use of Neem oil, leaves, stem and bark as insecticide is not new in our country. However, nowadays the preparation of various products in different forms is emerging very fast. |
