Abstract: This paper is based on the medicinal plants used for treating body pain by the tribals in Pathanamthitta district. There are about 6 tribal communities (Malappandaran, Urali, Mala-arayan, Ulladan, Malavedan and Malakurava) inhabiting this area. They have a very good knowledge of medicinal plants in their surrounding forest. Information about 10 plants used for treating body pain is collected
