Abstract: This study introduces an industrial automation testing system of drill string compensator (DSC) using a data acquisition(DAQ) based on a wireless monitoring. DSC examines pressure conditions of isolation valve of compensator, which is monitoredusing DAQ and data logging system based on Labview programming. Automated testing system has been designed to provide abetter working efficiency of DSC. With increase in pressure, breaking point of isolation valve was found to be at 63 bar and 68 barand stable operating limit was obtained at 55 bar and 60 bar value, respectively for two drillships.
