Abstract: A lightly crosslinked sample when stretched in a molten state, transformation to crystalline state first takes place from the stretched molecular chains. It is observed that this mode of crys-tallization produces a very unique phase structure associated with many characteristic properties which are advantageous for practi-cal use.
