dc.description.abstractThis study presents optimal production parameters in the manufacture of Carbidic Austempered Ductile Iron [CADI] through melting route using Taguchi technique. To analyze effect of production parameters on mechanical properties, signal-to-noise (S/N) ratio was calculated based on design of experiments and analysis of variance (ANOVA) used to find the amount of contribution of factors on mechanical properties and their significance. Analytical results of Taguchi method were found identical with experimental values.en_US
