Prof. Rao has been doing research inchemistry for over 60 years and at the age of 77 still continues to beactive in the field of science, being the National Research Professorand Linus Pauling Research Professor and Honorary President ofJawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research,Bangalore. His passion is nanotechnology, especially nanomaterialsconsisting of carbon nanotubes. |
