| Abstract: | EVERY day we come across many changes in our surroundings. These changes
may involve one or more substances. For example, your mother may ask you to
dissolve sugar in water to make a cold drink. You would also be familiar with
the rusting of iron in which oxygen molecules from the atmosphere react with
iron atoms in presence of moisture to form a new substance. The atoms in iron
oxide line up differently from those in either oxygen molecules or iron. |
