Abstract: Multiple shoots were produced in MS medium supplemented with BAP (1.333 <img src='/image/spc_char/micro.gif' border=0>M), KIN (0.928 <img src='/image/spc_char/micro.gif' border=0>M) , glutamine (342.2<img src='/image/spc_char/micro.gif' border=0>M) and glycine (6.665<img src='/image/spc_char/micro.gif' border=0>M). Addition of GA3 increased the shoot length. The optimum rooting of shoots was observed in MS medium containing NAA (1.611 <img src='/image/spc_char/micro.gif' border=0>M). The hardened plantlets showed 85% survival.
