| Abstract: | Through a study of literature and databases,
finds that library and information professionals in India have been involved in
research in the area of library management for more than three decades with 167
research works leading to doctoral degrees so far. The paper analyses these 167 research works
on various parameters and concludes that there is a rising interest in research
in the area of library management. |
