icecaps
melting fast, a large

of Islands are in danger of losing
even
their identity threatened as they are
with
drowning as sea levels rise. Climate
change
due to global warming also
threatens
to unleash episodes of droughts
and
heat waves and, as northern countries
warm,
disease-carrying insects could
migrate
north, bringing with them diseases. |
