Abstract: In practice of Ayurveda, herbo-mineral/metallic formulations (Bhasma of metals and minerals) are used since 7th centuries. It was supposed that these medicines have superior level of efficacy in comparison to other Ayurvedic dosage forms. Several studies claimed that Bhasmas are biologically produced nanoparticles.
