dimethyl-6,7,8,9 tetrahydro-5 -benzocycloheptene-
5-ones 2a-e and
4-arylidene tetrahydro-1-benzazepin-
5-ones 7a-b
obtained by the condens ation of 2,3-dimethyl
benzocyclohepten-5-one
1 and 1-benzazepine-5-one 6 with appropriate
aromatic
aldehydes, on reaction with Lawesson’s reagent in
xylene yield
phosphorus containing compounds 3a-e and 8a-b , respectively. |
