|Title:||Sports Nutrition: Maximising Performances|
|Abstract:||Sportspersons need a carefully designed diet regimen. Athletes can hope to perform well only with adequate reserves of strength at their diposal. In fact, sports nutrition has emerged as an independent field in itself comprising the study and practice of nutrition and diet as it relates to athletic performance. It is concerned with the type and quantity of fluid and food taken by an athlete, and deals with nutrients such as vitamins, minerals, supplements and organic substances such as carbohydrates and proteins.|
