| Abstract: | Jhum cultivation
is commonly practiced by indigenous tribes in Northeast
India. Many of the farmers in Nagaland have developed and
practicing Alder (Alnus nepalensis) based farming system. The
paper discusses in detail steps involved in increasing the yield of jhum crops. |
