and reduce the value. The technology used at present for grinding has disadvantages of high heat generation, loss of volatile&#xD;
oil and low efficiency.&#xD;

&lt;b&gt;Therapeutics&lt;/b&gt;- The potato tuber pieces with peel intact were homogenized with a 5mg/ml sodium dithionite solution and the pulp was collected and expressed through a nylon cloth.

&lt;b&gt;Radiotherapy&lt;/b&gt;- &lt;i&gt;Rasayanas&lt;/i&gt; are a group of non-toxic polyherbal preparation commonly used in Ayurveda in India to improve the health&#xD;
and longevity. &lt;i&gt;Rasayana&lt;/i&gt; has been shown to stimulate both humoral and cell-mediated immunity in mice.

&lt;b&gt;Condiment&lt;/b&gt;- Agar-Agar,a traditional&#xD;
ingredient in various bakery/&#xD;
confectionery products can only be&#xD;
dissolved in boiling water.&#xD;
&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&#xD;
&lt;b&gt;Dye/Pigment&lt;/b&gt;- The Arecanut (&lt;b&gt;&lt;i&gt;Areca catechu&lt;/i&gt; Linn.&lt;/b&gt;) extract is used for dyeing cotton in traditional practices. The scientists of Textiles and Clothing, AICRP(CT), College of&#xD;
Rural Home Science, Dharwad, studied the&#xD;
colour fastness properties of arecanut dyed&#xD;
cotton with different mordants.
