&lt;b&gt;Insecticide/Pesticide/Molluscicide&lt;/b&gt;- During storage pulse grains are attacked by bruchid, Callosobruchus chinensis and its control through chemical pesticides has always been questioned for residual toxicity.&#xD;

&lt;b&gt;Livestock&lt;/b&gt;- Linda McGraw, USDA-ARShas reported that when fed in low doses, sodium chlorate kills Salmonella&#xD;
typhimurium and Escherichia coli in pigs and cows.

and bark are also reported to possess many medicinal properties.&#xD;

&lt;b&gt;Vegetable&lt;/b&gt;- Cauliflower seeds contain 38.6% of a fixed oil which is reported to be suitable for domestic consumption. A&#xD;
research has been done to enhance seed production by spraying long chain aliphatic alcohol, Mixtalol, CH&lt;sub&gt;2&lt;/sub&gt;(CH&lt;sub&gt;2&lt;/sub&gt;)nCH&lt;sub&gt;2&lt;/sub&gt;0H.
